The history of Hood Sailmakers goes all the way back
to 1949 when Ted Hood, a.k.a. "The Professor", started
his sailmaking business.
Today, more than 50 years later, Hood sails can be found
from the J-class Endeavour to the racing yachts of the
BT-Challenge.
In 2004 Hood Yachting Gear was founded with the mission
to introduce the values and characteristics of the Hood
reputation to the world of nautical clothing and accessories.
